The Welsh language is very funny, it seems like somebody put randomly some letters together which I'm not able to pronounce. Fortunately everybody speaks English and I could fix my tire at a bikeshop in Merthyr Tydfil the next morning. I could already see the mystery mountains of the Brecon Beacons Naional Park in the clouds. I was completely wet of the mist when I arrived at the carpark on top where I started my climb on the Fan y big. The scenery was amazing and I had some chats with other hikers on the way and on top.
On the other side of the national park I followed the Brecon Canal and found a nice traditional country pub with a great atmosphere inside. I ordered the typical welsh homemade food, called faggot which is made from pig offal served with smashed potatoes and peas. I enjoyed it.
