In the meantime, a few years have passed

When a new season of popular shows like "Schwarzwaldklinik" or "Ich heirate eine Familie" aired in the 80s, it often began with the words "in the meantime, a few years have passed...".

It’s the same for us! Five years have passed since our last big trip. Back then, we traveled to Australia, New Zealand, and Thailand just before the outbreak of the Corona pandemic. Hardly back in Germany, the lockdowns began. Luckily, our wonderful trip carried us beautifully through the Corona period. We experienced the first lockdown almost like a continuation of our vacation together. While back then my herniated disc had forced us into a longer trip due to leftover vacation days, this time the occasion is purely joyful. We are both celebrating milestone birthdays, or rather, we already have. Therefore, we are traveling again for 2 months and are excited if you follow us virtually.

Now, the journey starts with the itinerary: Frankfurt- Doha- Perth- Sydney. Pure flight time: 21 hours….we will report back!
