Today’s day was relatively uneventful except for a brief moment.

Late breakfast in the garden with perfect weather, then along the coastline towards Lisbon. A lot of storks lined my path, which then tempted me to take a detour towards the beach before Porto Covo. My GPS informed me that there was an unpaved road leading to Porto Covo. That's what a GS is for, so I tackled a bit of gravel. However, that gravel turned into slippery mud, then there was a bit of sand for variety, but it was all manageable. Porto Covo was in sight, the path went steeply downhill and lo and behold, it led through the end of a harbor. Fortunately, it was low tide and little water, so the passage was not a significant challenge. It would have been impossible to pass through at high tide. Lucky me.

After this tiny excitement, I then made my way to Carvalhal and there took the ferry to Setubal. Just a little hour later, I was already in Lisbon. A few days of sightseeing are now on the agenda.
