TAG 3 - Omaha Beach
A walk in the rain has the advantage that one has the beach all to oneself.

It all started with a truly French breakfast of baguette, croissants, and treats from home (lovely people gave us marzipan strawberry jam and homemade honey)
Today we're staying at a camping site that is not divided into plots near Frehel. (Camping municipal du Pont de l'étang)
The beach is great and was quite empty earlier.
The journey was just a few hours, passing by Mont St Michel. We skipped the visit and took photos from the road.
In St. Malo, John tried his luck finding a bait shop. Aside from a round trip through the narrow streets of St. Malo, we had no success there.
However, along the way, we did find a well-equipped fishing shop, whose seller claimed his English was 'catastrophic!' Yet, we were able to get everything we needed for plaice fishing.
After John was in a really bad mood because barbecuing is prohibited at the campsite and he had bought tasty fish skewers... that gloom disappeared after dinner. Cheers to our contact grill!
