Yay! It was a good parking spot to find right in the city! That’s often not easy with the camper.

This allowed us to visit the market in Lorient, which is held in a hall AND outdoors and is open every morning until 1 PM. We stocked up on cheese, meat, cakes, bread, fresh vegetables, and mussels (which were very cheap! 10 euros for 2 kg).

Then we looked at the menhirs, which are large stones that were erected a very long time ago, but no one really knows why or for what purpose. Here in Erdeven, you can walk among them, touch them, and even have a picnic nearby... if you wanted to...

In Carnac, there are also some, but they are fenced off, the guide says.

Then we continued to the natural campsite in the dunes, right by the sea at Kerhillio.

The site and the sea are beautiful, we took a short swim in the sea, walked to the bar to drink cocktails, and then had dinner:

John prepared the mussels that we couldn't finish on our own. So we boldly offered the rest to our French camping neighbors, who gladly accepted it and praised the preparation.

Immediately, we had a glass of wine in hand, and they practiced their German on us while we practiced our French on them. We were about equally good. 🥰
