Left Rouen behind, off to Omaha Beach

Today we made it to Omaha Beach, which is still in Normandy...

The cities along the way all have emission regulations. As a foreign vehicle, we have to register to be allowed to enter. This was too complicated for us, so we skipped our planned stop in Rouen (Anna had been here as an exchange student before and remembered a very large clock.) and drove straight to Omaha Beach.

Checked in for 2 days, bought red wine and cider, cooked Bolognese, and now we're almost directly at the beach with a sea view. 😄

It’s over 30 degrees. Yes!
