Lerici was our first stop on the Italian Riviera. We had hoped for sun and warmth, but instead there was drizzle and gray clouds.
We took the tender boat across and this time the ride was not as long as in Monaco.
First, we walked through the narrow streets of the city.
Then we dared to climb up to the castle. Unfortunately, the museum inside was closed on Mondays, so we could only see it from the outside.
But we had a nice view of the village from above.
We could also look down into the next bay, but decided against going down there (because that would inevitably have meant a subsequent ascent).
In the village we visited a small church that was quite magnificently furnished for a fishing village.
As the rain got heavier, we returned to the ship. In the evening there was a cocktail demonstration where we not only watched the bartender mix three cocktails, but also got to try them.
