Zur Tour de France in Vichy
We saw the “fictitious start” of the 11th stage, drank tea like in imperial times, and enjoyed cabaret and a drone show.

Our next destination was the town of Puy-en-Velay, the capital of the Haute-Loire region.
Our motorhome parking spot was right by the train station and bus terminal, overlooking the old town. The path to get there wasn't very far, but it did have some steep sections...
Nonetheless, we set off on foot and first stopped at the quiet garden café of the Pilgrim Center. Several paths to the Camino de Santiago from France intersect here, and many pilgrims begin or take a break at Le Puy-en-Velay.
The Notre-Dame Cathedral, built in the 11th century, was established as a stop on the way to Santiago de Compostela, which we visited next.
