Today we crossed Lake Argentino and were able to see more glaciers: Spegazzini, Uppsala, and once again the Perito Moreno, this time from the north side. It was a beautiful day....

Today we were in El Chalten, a paradise for hikers and trekking enthusiasts, as well as paragliding. Here stands Mount Fitz Roy.
You can reach there by driving along the famous Route 40. At a rest stop, there is a mast with the names of many capitals, indicating the distance. Frankfurt is listed there ;-)
Unfortunately, we are here for way too short a time. It is really beautiful here, and we would love to extend our stay by 2-3 days.
Tomorrow, our flight is heading to Buenos Aires.
