After breakfast at the Salesians, we headed towards Puerto Natales, heading north. My trusty friend, the Peugi, was needed again...
On the way over Route 9, we could once again admire beautiful landscapes.
A short city tour in Puerto Natales was also on the agenda; I had been here back in 2014, so we quickly continued on our way to Cerro Castillo. We booked a Hosteria for two nights here.
Another highlight on the way was the 'Cueva del Milodon', the cave of the prehistoric Mylodon. This 200-meter-long cave was discovered by German adventurer Hermann Eberhardt in 1895.
At 7:00 PM we reached our hotel 'Riverline Lodge' in Cerro Castillo. Grilled chicken and two beers for dinner and a short walk through the small town - that's the end for today.
Tomorrow we will spend the whole day in the Torres Del Paine National Park - another highlight of our trip - Buenas Noches!
