Now the end of our journey is approaching.
What has been good and what have we learned?
Traveling by train is comfortable and smooth. It's good that we treated ourselves to first class. We have seen and experienced a lot. Salzburg and Venice were absolutely amazing!! The days in Rimini were calm and pleasant, and the visit to San Marino was an experience. The weather was not on our side in Innsbruck, but we aren't made of sugar, so we braved the weather and ascended Nordkette in wind and mixed rain and snow.
The Italian cuisine is significant in Europe, hard to resist all the Italian restaurants; luckily, we love Italian food. We have eaten Italian in Salzburg, Innsbruck, and Hamburg, and of course in Italy!
What have we learned?
Smaller bags next time. More flexibility in the planning towards the end of the trip.
In summary: We have had a fantastic trip!
