1st July - Sloth

Sloth is a deadly sin, as I occasionally observe in relation to my wife, who tends to lean towards relaxation. In this sense, the first of July 2025 was a day of transgression for Katja and Volker.

We meander between shadows in front of the bus, pool, and sunbeds in the shade. Reading, sleeping, puzzling. An activity burst on my part leads to cooking a pasta sauce with chorizo and zucchini. However, after consuming a bruschetta, we are no longer hungry, and it stays in the fridge for the next day.

Under-challenged, we spend the evening playing the carriage game and Scrabble.
