The first step is done...

...on Friday (18.11) I booked my ticket back to Frankfurt from Rome. That was the first action for the whole trip or the so-called "first step". As known, it's the hardest one. Then I registered my bike with Lufthansa as special cargo and already received the confirmation for that.

After that, I searched for a Bed & Breakfast in Rome, which is not that easy with all the choices there. Eventually, I found something affordable where I can also securely store my bike. Now I can explore Rome for 4 days and need to be there on 28.05.

I will plan the tour in detail later...either I start from Münsterland and go directly to Rome or I go by bike to Dortmund and continue by train to Munich. The advantage of the latter option is that I can be more flexible in Italy 🇮🇹 and make some detours with my bike instead of taking the direct route.

Anyway, I already feel a high dose of anticipation:-)))
