We are staying in a pleasant hotel very close to the Thames. After breakfast, we then walked along the Thames bank past the London Eye to the Parliament. Then we revisited the famous sights, Big Ben (back in operation), the large parks, Westminster Abbey, Downing Street, Buckingham, Piccadilly, Trafalgar. We ended the day with a tour on a double-decker bus (electric) and dinner at one of the highly rated restaurants. On Saturday, we are planning a cozy morning and then ordering an Uber to Dover.
