Today we continue our journey towards Orkdal, fortified with a superb breakfast from Betty. After a short drive in beautiful weather, we encounter the first moose, and shortly after, we can observe two oystercatchers, a crane family with two young ones. Not only the landscape, but also the animal world, shows itself with its great diversity. Today we use a short car ferry from Brekstad to Agdenes, about 25 minutes. The great oystercatcher is a bird species from the family of sandpipers, it is becoming an increasingly rare breeding and summer bird in Central Europe. A short drive along fjords and beautiful valleys brings us to our accommodation in Orkdal, a municipality in Central Norway's Trondelag region. Don't forget that today we encountered the Hurtigruten ship Nordlys.
