Today we leave our great excellent accommodation in Bronnosund towards Namsos. After a short rain shower, we have not been on the road for long, we already see a female moose right by the road. With the weather getting better and better, we soon reach the first car ferry along the Lysfjord, Hofles to Lund, about 20 minutes. As with all previous ferries, this ferry is completely uncomplicated, paid with the credit card directly on the ferry. In the early evening, we reach our charming little house in Namsos, where we are warmly welcomed. The city is located in a small bay at the mouth of the Namsen River into the Namsenfjord. The main part of the city was built in a small low-lying foothill that extends into the harbor. In the north, the sparsely wooded hills rise quite steeply to over 180 meters. To the east, the wide Namsen Valley extends. Since we have no cooking facilities today, we go out for burgers and end the evening with playing cards.
