After a peaceful night, we reach Alesund in the most beautiful, cold winter weather. We hike up Mount Aksla. The local mountain Aksla in the east of Alesund may only be 189 meters high, but the panorama over the Jugendstil city on the west Norwegian coast is simply fantastic. The view from Aksla offers an unforgettable glimpse of the surrounding islands, skerries, islets, and the majestic Sunnors Alps. In the afternoon, we take a leisurely stroll through the city and enjoy the lovely evening atmosphere.
