30.11.2018 10 days at buffelsdrift

Hot

Today it was already a lot warmer in the morning.

We first did the elephant enclosure and then filled up the water in the big enclosure again. We also filled up a new waterhole just because now the sun was really burning and the animals were thirsty.

Back for lunch, we got hot dogs today, it got really hot and walking back to camp was exhausting.

We prepared the elephant food and then loaded some hay on the truck to feed to the rhinos and buffels. Today the rhino wasnt in a too bad mood but still not calm enough that we could load off the food in piece.

It started to chase the car again but didnt run to far since it was pretty hot. So we loaded off the food at another place.

We fed the lions aswell they were really hungry since we skipped breakfast but it was too hot for them to run or really complain.

We grabbed some groceries at the lodge, we always need milk since I have a bit of it with my cornflakes and lea and larissa always take it for cornflakes and with coffee 3 times per day. But still they tell me that I use too much milk.🙄

After a nice extra cold shower we met for dinner.
