After lunch, we set off for Cannes.</p><p style='color:rgb(0, 0, 0)'>The Cannes Film Festival takes place here every year. The city seems designed for it, with hints everywhere. The town was quite crowded. There are many restaurants and shops to choose from. I believe a lot of money is made or spent here 😅. Prior to our visit, I located a lookout point that offers a view over the city. Aaaand naturally, this is somewhat elevated...😅 So we had to struggle up there in the heat. Afterward, I felt like I could be completely wrung out 🙈. But we were rewarded with beautiful sights in front of our eyes. So it turned out to be a good decision. The way down went quite smoothly. Well, we definitely deserved a refreshing drink (Drinks) 😁!</p><p style='color:rgb(0, 0, 0)'>We strolled a bit along the promenade and could observe several helicopters landing and taking off. I wonder which stars just arrived... 🤷🏼‍♂️😅</p><p style='color:rgb(0, 0, 0)'>But one thing we definitely noticed everywhere: the service is quite friendly. Today, we planned to take the train first to Antibes and then to Cannes. The weather was once again excellent for sunbathers among us 😃.

For breakfast, we picked up croissants from the small shop of a somewhat older lady. Man, they were really delicious! Elisa ordered in French and people thought we were French. At least I can greet, thank, and say goodbye 😅.
