10. Makarora

After the farewell coffee, we continue our journey alone towards the West Coast. On the way, we had coffee, lollicake, and muesli in Ranfurly, where there is an Art Deco museum featuring our GluckGluck fish in a display case - the lady knew nothing about the sounds, a lovely experience… Queenstown is a bit like Geneva, quite crowded, but with good ice cream, a beautiful bay, and mountains all around! Now, we head back over the mountains to our destination Makarora. Driving through the mountains is somehow fun! Here we are sleeping in a cabin at the 'Wonderland' campsite, very nice here.
