On 13.05. we drove from the small town of Cedar City to Zion National Park.
Since it was Saturday, the park was a bit busier than we were used to :-)
But that was totally okay.
Zion National Park differs from the other parks in one major point; there are hardly any tourists! So the Asians stayed away for today. :-) The Americans mainly use the park for long hikes of 2-5 hours.
There was everything from easy hiking trails to hardcore hiking trails.
We didn't dare to go on the big, steep and dangerous ones and stuck to normal hikes :-) Safety first!
But even on the easy trails we were able to capture some great snapshots.
After our day of hiking, we made our way to Mesquite, where we booked a room at the Virgin River Hotel for one night.
On Mother's Day, we will continue to the 1.5 hour away Valley of Fire (near Las Vegas), where we will end our national park marathon.
