Lazy Day and philosophical conversations in the afternoon
Today we didn't really do much. The young horses had the day off and our two Icelandic interns went home. Karin and I only had one tour in the morning, where we had the pleasure...

Yesterday afternoon, 120 horses arrived with 20 riders. The horses stayed overnight in our paddock, while the riders took a bus for accommodation. Before that, they had coffee or a beer in our pub. Magnus sang a few songs and the Icelanders sang along in chorus. It was really nice. Some non-Icelanders then attacked our t-shirts and bought some as souvenirs. T-shirts are also popular as souvenirs here. They were supposed to leave around 11 am this morning - but they are Icelanders after all... They arrived at 12 and then started sorting the horses back to the riders. It's not easy to find a specific horse from a herd... But somehow, everyone ended up with a horse and didn't look unhappy. They were gone around 1 pm and left us to tidy up, which Magnus didn't like very much.... I'm curious - apparently, the group is supposed to show up again on Thursday....
