So now we have landed in Kasterlee, which belongs to the province of Antwerp and is part of the Belgian region of Kempen. After it rained yesterday, the sky looks promising today - after the first autumn fog in the morning. That's why we get on our bikes and set off for a relaxed Sunday ride from Kasterlee through Prinsenpark to the Bocholt-Herentals Canal and back. The area through which we ride on many - mostly car-free and well-signposted - side roads is beautiful and opens the heart. The ride through Prinsenpark is particularly memorable. Not only because of the separate lanes that lead through the cozy forest, where the honorable gentlemen used to ride for hunting. The land is wide and the sky is high.
