Losses and gains
Last night! Tomorrow at noon we will be in Scotland. At the 15 mile zone, a call to Customs and Immigration is required for registration. Then fill out these documents in the port and send them by email.
Because there are strict import restrictions, of course.
We have provisions for four months and we prefer to drink wine (allowed are 18 liters) made from dangerous honey, not to mention the seeds.
Here for Scottish customs, which kindly only questioned us on the phone and to whom we did not conceal the provisions for four months: not a gram of alcohol leaves this ship and I will not scatter my precious lucerne and carnation clover seeds on the island.
Just now I am imagining how I should explain my mushroom cultivation to customs, which looks strongly like a nice package of mind-expanding tools, when I realize that I have not secured them. I'm sorry Gabi, your gift did not survive the crossing.
Shortly afterwards we want to raise the Q flag. We have the complete flag alphabet and all the flags of the Atlantic residents with us...
It is so predictable.
So quickly cut out a yellow piece from the old German flag, sewed it and hung it up. We will probably have it for the next ten years.
When entering the port, we quickly towed a German ship whose engine had been broken for days, and voila, we were there.
