Schlager Paradise at Lake Borgdorfer - July 27th

After a night on the Elbe, we continue to the Elbe ferry the next afternoon. Just over to Glückstadt, we're not stupid... it's actually a shortcut...!

Great idea! Schleswig-Holstein and probably all other 15 federal states thought so too...great! 

After two and a half hours of waiting, we finally crossed over to the Bergdorfer lake near Quickborn. 

Pitch in the pole position. In the evening, we had a big camping party with the finest Schlager music. Exactly our thing...! But you have to celebrate the parties as they come, we did our best and were rewarded with a Schnäppschen from the boss in person. Although 10 schnapps would have been better...!

The next day, we have a golden wedding, unfortunately without schnapps, but also without Schlager, at least!

It's time to move on.
