Day 33 - 35: Chiang Mai

The city is not only known for its numerous temples. Here you can also find beautiful waterfalls and nature. But the highlight of my stay in Chiang Mai was a visit to an elephant sanctuary. In this camp, they take care of elephants that were previously treated very badly and brutally. We were allowed to feed them, take a mud bath with them, and then clean them up again afterwards.
