13.12. Raetihi

We ended up in the very small and somewhat bleak town of Raetihi, the perfect starting point to admire the Wanghanui National Park. The river of the same name is ideal for canoeing, especially for a multi-day trip.

Unfortunately, there are no ideal hiking routes, so we preferred to do some 'American hiking' with stops.
