In the last few days, we have been searching for jobs and apartments. Unfortunately, we have realized, as we didn't consider before, that most of the apartments and hostels are already fully booked or too expensive during Christmas and New Year. After extensive online research, we applied to many places. As a result, a few farms got in touch with us, and we had SMS contact with one of them. We found this farm to be friendly and decided to leave Sydney and move to Mildura to work on the farm. We also arranged accommodation and train tickets in the last few days, so that the journey can continue. Otherwise, the last few days have been quite relaxed. We went to the beach multiple times to enjoy the sun and work on our tan. We also went to various shops in the city (unfortunately, everything was so expensive). Since the weather wasn't great today, we went to Paddy's Market, which is a hall with many souvenir stands where you can buy everything very cheaply. After that, we went to Centennial Park. We strolled around and took photos. There were so many birds there! We wanted to take a picture on a bridge, and we already saw that there were many birds there. Without thinking, Saskia handed me her things to hold while she posed for the photo. When I saw the bird running towards us, I alerted Saskia, but the bird continued to run towards us. Saskia ran away, and I thought we should stay still so it would also stop. But no, it continued to run towards us, and we ran for our lives. We didn't do anything to provoke it, but it chased us away. After that, we immediately left the park.
