9. Tag we are still in Les Palmeras
Today after breakfast we went to Les Palmeras for the second time. I thought maybe we would have luck today and meet someone there. The weather was wonderful, about 25 degrees...

Today we left again after breakfast, but 1.5 hours later than usual. Our campground manager didn't arrive earlier and the gate was closed. Our next destination, Almeria, is 479 km away. About 5 km before that is our campsite nestled in the mountains. The sea is approximately 2 km away. We'll know for sure tomorrow. Today was a challenge for our motorhome. I visited the reception 5 times. They became increasingly strange. In reality, they didn’t understand my problem at all. We are too high for the shaded spots. The staff at the exit suggested that I didn't like the spots. Anyway, there's only one option available on the entire site, and that's the one we got. However, the spot is only available until Saturday afternoon, which means we'll have to continue into the unknown. To give you an idea of the scale of the greenhouses: they stretch continuously on both sides of the road from Feuchtwangen to Dinkelsbühl. Incredible, but we are all to blame. We need tomatoes and fresh peppers in December. Lettuce and many other vegetables. We shouldn't even talk about the nutritional value. We all know that this produce is grown quickly with just water and fertilizer. Often the nitrogen levels aren’t adhered to either. But we don’t care, it just has to look good. There’s a restaurant at the campsite that we're heading to now. Hopefully, we’ll get something delicious to eat today. We talked about Bernd and Elke today; they wouldn’t stand a chance finding a spot in Spain with their truck. Tomorrow, we’ll take better pictures and explore the area.
