Public Transport Total: Travel Connects People
Sometimes the journey isn't the destination, but the people you find at the end of the way.

A strict time lies behind me. Managed thanks to a wonderful family and dedicated colleagues, especially my deputy, who stepped in for me whenever there was a need.
Now I have broken free, secured the camper I’ve rented for a long time, and now I'm off.
Many options are open, Istria is always worth the trip, I still have an outstanding matter with the Ardèche since spring, and recently Brittany has caught my eye. Let's see where my path leads me.
No matter, today the office calls for a while longer. Friday was very turbulent, and some important things were left undone. A quick chat with Stevau, material return from the SYMP25, and holiday handover, and then I'm off. Not far, but just away.
My journey takes me to Saignelégier. A fantastic, wild, simple campsite awaits me. Years ago I passed by there on my bike tour from Basel to Chaux-de-Fonds and vowed 'I'll be back!' Nestled in the heights of the Freiberge, the site sits in a relaxed fir forest. There are no fixed spots; you simply find an open fire pit and settle down. The reception opens twice a day, and then you check in.
I hop back on my bike and head to the Etang des Royes. A lovely spot to slowly transition from the hectic office life into holiday mode.
The day is rounded off with a little fire, sausages, and a local beer from the Brasserie des Franches-Montagnes sufficient to make me a happy man. Sleep well everyone!
