Potosí - the city of miners

As a stopover after Sucre, we spent two days in Potosí. Here, everything revolved around the mines in Cerro Rico. However, we did not go on a mine tour. Instead, we visited a beautiful colonial church and were able to enjoy the view over the rooftops of Potosí from its dome. We also visited Casa de La Moneda, where we learned everything about the faded wealth and the first silver coins of Bolivia. Nevertheless, we have to admit that Potosí had little to offer for us.
