After a night without any flight departures, we start the journey for the first time this morning in the rain. Light rain. It lasts for about an hour and then our clothes have time to dry during the ride.
In Ménil-la-Horgne, we spend the night at Hotel L'Auberge de Mulin a Grains. A small, privately run hotel with a restaurant, we have a very uniquely furnished, spacious room. There is a nice garden, and we can store our bikes in a shed.
Today we are heading to Nantes, and we will ride a bit along the Moselle, the river where our journey will end in July.
In Toul, we make a stop. First, there is coffee, then the cathedral, and then lunch.
