The mood is good, even though the pump bag for the sleeping mats burst the day before. There was a bent, rusted piece of wire on the grass that had punctured the cushion into the pump bag. Fortunately, it didn't go into the knee or one of the tires.

Ouvrages du Libron

On our tour, there are very interesting hydraulic structures. One example is the Ouvrages du Libron at the Canal du Midi.

Here, the Libron River crosses the canal. Since both bodies of water are at the same level, an overpass or underpass could not be realized. In 1855, a technically elaborate crossing was built. More information can be found on Wikipedia here.
