Las Vegas hardly needs an introduction - a synthetic city in the middle of the desert that lives off its hotels and casinos. We are more into nature, but we failed to find a meaningful nature program due to daily temperatures exceeding 40°C: All attractive hiking options in the surrounding national and other parks were closed because of the heat, and for just 'looking around', the travel distance was too much...
So we suddenly had 2 days of city program in Las Vegas, during which we at least managed to walk almost the entire 'Strip' (Las Vegas Boulevard).
With Las Vegas, our 5200km trip came to an end - after 4 weeks, it was time to return home...
