Adventurous mishap.

During breakfast, I booked my further flights to Australia via Singapore. I was very excited to finally have a date when I would actually reach Australia.

On the way to the city Mukdahan, we encountered two police checkpoints. Luckily, they didn't stop us. The scooters in Asia drive faster than 50 km/h and you need an additional motorbike license, which I unfortunately don't have. The fine may only be 10 - 15 €, but it would still be unnecessary. When we came back, we found out that our rear tire was flat. The helpfulness of the Thais overwhelmed me. Everyone told us where a repair shop was. So we pushed the scooter for two kilometers.

A Thai stopped and said that the tire was already flat. So we could still drive. He was right. So we skidded to the repair shop.

We drove two kilometers and the same thing happened again. They had only replaced the tube. But there was something stuck in the tire.

Sartra's aunt had a sugar factory, where we went to pick up her husband. There were surely 100 trucks with sugarcane on the premises! Unbelievable!

Well, then let's 'shower'. If you can call it that, with a ladle and cold water. And the tap didn't produce any more water. So that had to be enough. It's fascinating how much water can be saved this way!
