#Tag2: Arriving

I arrived in Bangkok around 2:30 PM local time. Completely exhausted and feeling like I haven't slept at all, because the flight from Istanbul to Bangkok was completely booked and even though I'm not that tall, I have to say that it's just cramped in economy class. After going through immigration, I decided to take a taxi to the hostel because I didn't feel capable of wandering through the city on my own yet. However, this will also be the last time I take a taxi! The traffic here is just horrible. It took me over an hour from the airport to the hostel 😲

Once I arrived at the hostel, I jumped straight into the shower and headed out onto the street. I strolled along the Mae Nam Chao Phraya River and after a very delicious dinner on the roadside (see photos), I went to the bar street to enjoy the hustle and bustle.

Now (8:30 PM), I'm getting ready for bed because I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow, full of temples 😊
