Fog and Flowers

After the action-packed evening in Keelung, we went for breakfast the next morning. Of course, we couldn't miss the Cinnamon Roll again.

For this day, we had actually planned a classic outdoor adventure: Yangmingshan National Park, hiking, nature, and views.

But the reality turned out to be more like this: Fog... a lot of fog.

The drive up the mountains was completely enveloped in gray. It's a pity because the landscape there is said to be really beautiful. However, we saw... very little of it. No signs of a view.

And the humid air up there was definitely not good for my hair. It had its own plan that day.

There was still a small highlight.

Suddenly, a monkey hopped around somewhere by the roadside. Very random, but somehow just what one needs in such a moment.

As the weather didn’t improve, we spontaneously adjusted our plan and headed to Yangmingshan Flower Clock Park at least. There, the weather showed us a bit of mercy.

Among many flowers, well-kept gardens, and even cherry blossom trees, we finally felt a bit of spring. We felt like boomers. The park is known for its large flower clock, which is replanted according to the season and looks different each time.

Of course, the obligatory little photo session couldn’t be missed here either.

After that, it was time for the next decision.

Where are we sleeping tonight?

We decided relatively spontaneously to drive further north towards the coast and ended up at the Chill Chill House.
