Konstanz and Lake Constance Wine

This weekend, we went to Konstanz, including an overnight stay at 47 Grad. What I didn't know beforehand: The name not only sounded nice but also was quite an accurate statement. The room temperature reflected the name pretty well in the end. A bit of cooling down would have definitely been welcome.

During a Friends get-together with a view of Lake Constance, we really treated ourselves well. Grill, wine, and relaxation.

I was particularly impressed by the Sauvignon Blanc from Aufricht, a wine from Meersburg. I’m usually not so easily impressed, but this one was really good. One or two more servings were definitely a must.

And since a weekend in Konstanz without brunch at Heinrichs is inconceivable for us, it naturally had to be included the next morning.
