Trip to Saló

From the hotel, it's a walk down a forest path to the lake, and then along the promenade to Saló. It's typically Italian with many narrow streets and small piazzas, where restaurants and ice cream shops beckon at every corner to linger. Unfortunately, the cathedral was closed.
