Sightseeing in Sirmione

First, we visited the old Saglierburg in Sirmione, which is guarded by a pink crocodile swimming in the moat. A wonderful view from the tower was the reward for the many steps we climbed. Afterwards, we took a long walk past Villa Cortine and through Parco Maria Callas to the tip of the peninsula. On the way back, we treated ourselves to ice cream and a refreshing footbath in the lake. By the time we returned to the car, we had walked over 14,000 steps.
