We're already into the third day here, letting life come to us. The campsite is great, the weather even better, and we're doing well.
At 66 years old, life begins... Hello Peter.
Yesterday we walked the path around the peninsula for the second time, enjoying the vegetation and the houses. The town was noticeably busier, especially since bus tours increase on the weekends. Obviously, this place is being visited from all directions (Germany, Switzerland, France) and the bus loads are released with their pilgrim purpose.
This also becomes apparent in the shops and restaurants.
Still, we find a good spot and order food and drinks. Yesterday, we discussed that it's better to eat lunch/afternoon rather than just in the evening.
So that's how it is today, with spaghetti and penne all'arrabbiata (very good by the way).
Alongside a bottle of Gavi (white wine from the region), which tasted exquisite and matched the warm weather perfectly.
