day 2
After delicious frutas for breakfast and a short walk through Bogota, Marius and I were driven to the airport by the Díaz family. They also gave me a very warm welcome and are a prime example of Colombian hospitality.
2 hours later we were already on the Caribbean coast in Santa Marta. 40,000 pesos (10€) for the taxi to the accommodation was simply extortionate, which is why we opted for the public bus for 2,500 pesos per person. The trip should be remembered, first we were able to observe a protest on the street during the trip and then we had an accident - the rear open door caught the mirror of another bus, so it flew into our interior - luckily no one got hurt injured and where in Germany the insurance number is exchanged and the police are called, in Colombia people complain that the journey cannot be continued more quickly. After a few minutes we continued and we were able to enjoy the evening with the sunset on the horizon of the sea in tropical temperatures, exchange ideas with restaurants, taste Lebanese cuisine and then end the evening with a walk on the beach.
