Minca III + Palomina

Day 5

Every morning the owner of the accommodation's sweet dog lies in front of our room door and watches over us. Small geckos are often found in the room. We started the day today by making cocoa or chocolate. Our host really does a lot, including processing chocolate. We were then driven uphill by motorbike to La Victoria, where a delicious café and a tour of the factory awaited us. We returned on foot with two other backpackers we met there. We drove to Palomina on the coast in a private car. The drive was really interesting because there are a lot of people living on the main road and there are a lot of big banana plantations. In the evening we went through the city to the beach. The bar culture fits!
