Then it was about 5h to drive to Yulara, which is a small tourist village near the entrance to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. On the way you can see 'Fool-uluru' how Mt Connor is often named, as many people mistake it for being Uluru. Stuart of course knew it is only Mt Connor and enjoyed this short break very much.

As the weather was really nice we decided to buy the 3-day park pass on this day to see the sunset at Uluru. The sunset area for cars is really handy organised: you just park your car, take out your chairs right next to the car and can have a picnic & drinks while watching the changes of the color of Uluru. Stuart enjoyed this evening very much.
