Day 6/Mo, Part 1(🚗 San Austin):

Today's destination is San Augustin and the archaeological park there.

This very small town is located about 35 km south of Pitalito in the green hills above the Rio Magdalena - so again about 45 - 60 min travel time (we're getting closer to the equator 😁).

At first glance, it looks like many other small places – but there is a lot of history here.

In any case, San Augustin has a real original market! A market like you know from old stories: animals, fruits, vegetables, handmade items, … We also bought a few things there: apples, mangoes, passion fruit, ….
