In the morning, we leave Cascada Verde and continue by car towards the south to Sierpe. There, we have booked a guided kayak tour on the Sierpe River. Once again, there are many animals to see, and even a baby crocodile briefly appears. Since we have to return the car in San José the next day, but don't want to take the coastal route back, we take the route through the mountains. Because the sun sets here already at 6 pm in the evening, the winding drive in darkness and mist becomes a little adventure. Nevertheless, we finally reach our eco lodge safely at an altitude of about 2000 meters.
