The last stop before our return journey from Gran Canaria is Puerto del Rosario on Fuerteventura.
First up today is the caviar buffet. I don't like it for breakfast, but I don't want to keep it from you.
Today we have booked an excursion through the shipping company.
'See and taste Fuerteventura'
During a trip with our tour guide Kirsten, we will taste cheese, liqueur, olive oil, aloe, and discover salt.
As we Germans are, the departure was not at 9:00 AM, but at 8:50 AM. Now, with a lot of information, we traveled 30 minutes over the island to the cheese factory 'La Casa del Queso Cabrera Pérez'.
Here we tasted a liqueur, various types of cheese, as well as sweet and savory spreads. Afterwards, there was ample time to visit the cheese factory.
After sufficient free time, we continue to the olive and aloe farm just before 11 AM. We reach it after about 10 minutes of travel time. On-site, a staff member from the 'Verdeaurora Bio Farm' explained everything about olive trees and olive oil, as well as aloe and its uses. Additionally, we had the opportunity to compare a supermarket oil and one from the bio farm. Aloe was processed, and we tried various products from the farm. All this under a shady pergola with a glass of prosecco.
Around noon, we head to our last stop of the day. About 30 minutes of travel time. We visit the 'Las Salinas del Carmen'. The salt pans are still in operation, but the main income seems to come from the museum and the sale of products. Here we have a stay of about 1 hour before heading back to the ship.

The last hours on the ship are now upon us. The last spaghetti ice cream banana with a few little extras, the last run cocktail, and the last dinner in the Atlantic Classic restaurant.

Good night
