Luxor

Wake-up call at 6 AM and breakfast. We depart at 7 AM. Our first destination is the Karnak Temple, arriving at 07:40. Guided tour and about 1 hour of free time. Meeting point at 09:45 for onward journey. Unfortunately, some participants are late.

At 10:45, we reach the Valley of the Kings. From the main entrance, we take a golf cart to the tombs. Unlike before, only 3 tombs are open each day. Unfortunately, the most famous one is not open today. There may be some waiting lines. After an introduction by our tour guide, we have time until 12:35. Then we continue our journey. 

Now by bus to the other side of the mountain. The Temple of Hatshepsut is our next destination. 

The conclusion of this very strenuous day are the Memnon Colossi. 

We drive back to the ship. Unfortunately, our group is not staying on schedule more and more often. 

Upon arrival at the ship, we quickly go for lunch and finally, our Nile cruise begins.

And here is our plan for tomorrow. 

We decide not to go to bed so early. We have been waiting at the lock for ages. A good choice, as we rumble through the lock of Edna at midnight.
