Aswan Day 8

Today we are starting at 08:00 AM. It's unusual for us to be able to sleep in this long. The felucca is already waiting next to our river cruise ship for the trip to Kitchener Island with its botanical garden.

From the botanical garden, there is also a view of the mausoleum of Aga Khan.

At 10:00 AM, we start the onward journey from Kitchener Island by motorboat.

We travel through the nature reserve and past Nubian villages.

And the house of Mohamed Manouir, a very well-known Nubian singer according to our tour guide.

This time, it was not us who were late, but another travel group. With an hour's delay, we leave Aswan at 24:30.

Our next stop is scheduled for 18:00 in Kom Ombo. Here, the travel group that boarded in Aswan will take their excursion while we relax on the ship.

At 19:30, we are supposed to continue to Edfu where we will dock overnight. However, we actually set off at 19:50. As always, with a few delays. No wonder the ship has so many dents.

Just before midnight, we reach Edfu. Now it's time for bed.
