Short break in London

I spent New Year's Eve 2015 with my friends in London to visit another friend who was spending her au pair year there.

We experienced a lot, I can't remember everything:

• We rode the famous buses several times and of course posed with telephone booths.
• We weren't all in the Sky Garden together due to fear of heights, as well as over Tower Bridge.
• We were all together again in the Tower of London. We actually wanted to go to the Harry Potter Museum instead, but we couldn't get any tickets there.
• We were in a large, very winding market whose name I have forgotten.
• In the evening we watched the musical “Charly in the Chocolate Factory”.
• We had a classic Indian meal. ;)
• And of course we walked around a lot of famous places, none of which I remember.
• But I can say with certainty that we didn't see the London Eye.

I think I would like to come back to London in the summer when it doesn't get dark so early and it's a bit warmer. It would also have been warmer if the houses had been properly insulated, there had been warm water in the accommodation and more than just a blanket for 3 people... but it was still very nice!
